Inspired by the soft tones of the bluebird, this shade brings a feeling of fresh air, natural light and quiet movement to everyday pet living. Bluebird Blue is capped at 6,000 pieces for the entire world. Every size, every shape, every country — one single run. Once our atelier pours the last one, there is no repeat.
Spread across all the shops that carry PINO, that means most stores receive just a handful of each shape. So if you spot the one you want, it's worth not sleeping on it.
For the first time: every shape in marble
In our permanent collection, the marble finish is reserved for the Classic Bowl. Not this time. For Bluebird Blue we've poured every single bowl type in marble — yes, the Slow Feeders and the Long Ears Bowls too.
Every piece is poured by hand, so the swirls of deep blue, sky blue and white land differently each time. No two bowls are alike, and this is the only edition where you'll find that marbling on every shape we make.

Designed around how they actually eat
Bluebird Blue is a colour, not a compromise. Every shape in the edition does the same job as the rest of our range:
- Whiskers stay calm. Our shallow Whisker Friendly design keeps sensitive whiskers from brushing the sides.
- Long ears stay clean. The Long Ears Bowl narrows at the top so ears stay out of dinner.
- Fast eaters slow down. The Slow Feeder shapes turn gulping into a puzzle.
- Nothing slides. Pino Sandstone is naturally heavy, so the bowl stays put instead of travelling across your kitchen floor.
The material itself is hypoallergenic and non-porous, so it doesn't hold on to smells and stays kind to sensitive skin.
Handmade in Belgium
Every Bluebird Blue piece is made in our atelier in Belgium, in a social workspace where we work with talented people who face barriers to the traditional labour market. Each bowl is shaped by hand, which means small variations in colour, pattern and shape. Those aren't flaws — they're the fingerprint of the person who made it.
Taking care of your bowl
Gentle handwashing keeps Bluebird Blue looking its best, though it's top-shelf dishwasher safe on a low heat setting. It's not microwave safe, and it's happiest indoors. To keep the blue as deep as the day you bought it, keep it out of direct sunlight and prolonged UV.
