This behaviour can lead to frustration and unhealthy eating patterns. Most bowls are designed for mass production, not your dog’s comfort. At PINO, we do things differently. We design bowls tailored to your dogs comfort - made out of PINO Sandstone®: stable, strong, silent, odor-free and hypoallergenic. No more mess. No more stress. Just a bowl that works and makes your dog enjoy his meal again.
Material and care
Made from PINO Sandstone®, our own material from natural sand. Heavy enough to stay put, strong enough to survive a chewer, and free from BPA, phthalates, PVC and lead.
Dishwasher safe at 30°C on the top rack, and easy to clean by hand too. It also goes in the fridge, handy if you feed raw. Not for the microwave.
Every bowl is handmade in Belgium, so small differences in colour and texture are part of it.

Absolutely gorgeous looking, dog loves it as well. The bowls are indeed very sturdy and any food residue is easily removed, no concern at all that bacteria accumulates there. Would highly recommend (and won’t be my last PINO bowls).

Which dogs is the Classic for?
For every dog. Small suits toy breeds like a Chihuahua or Maltese, Medium suits dogs like a Border Collie or Cocker Spaniel, and Large suits a Labrador, Golden Retriever or German Shepherd. Use it for food, for water, or take two.
Which size do I need?
As a rule of thumb: Small for dogs up to 10 kg, Medium from 10 to 25 kg, and Large for dogs above 25 kg. In doubt? Send us your dog's breed and we will help you choose.
What is the difference between Solid and Marble?
Only the look. Solid is one calm colour, Marble has a marbled finish. Same material, same shape, same price.
Does it slide or tip over?
No. PINO Sandstone® is heavy and the bowl has a non-slip base, so it stays in place, even with an eager eater. On the tray it sits in a recess, so it cannot move at all.
Will the measuring lines wear off?
No. The lines are made in the sandstone while the bowl is shaped by hand, so they are a permanent part of the bowl.
Is it for food or for water?
Both. Kibble, wet food or water, the Classic takes it all. Many owners take two on a matching tray, one for food and one for water. Does your dog gulp? Then pair it with a Slow Feeder.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, at 30°C on the top rack. You can also put it in the fridge, handy if you feed raw. Just keep it out of the microwave.
Can my dog chew it to pieces?
PINO Sandstone® is as strong as stone and resists chewing. It is made to take daily knocks, and it is free from BPA, phthalates, PVC and lead, so nothing harmful ends up in your dog.
Can I raise the bowls?
Yes, in Medium and Large. Put the bowls on the Tray for Dogs in the same size and add the Raised Tray Extension underneath, with four heights to choose from. The Small tray does not work with the extension.
Why does every bowl look slightly different?
Every bowl is handmade in Belgium, in a social workplace. Small differences in shape or colour, or a tiny air bubble, are part of that handwork and make every bowl unique.
How fast is delivery, and can I return it?
Orders ship on working days. Shipping is free over 100 euro in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg, and you can return within 14 days.
