Dachshund, Cavalier King Charles, Miniature Poodle and other small dogs with long ears. Pairs with the Small Tray for Dogs.
Spaniels, bassets, beagles, dachshunds, setters, doodles: if the ears hang past the jaw, they get to dinner first. In a wide, open bowl they dip into the food and soak up the water, and you end up wiping them after every meal.
The Long Ears Bowl narrows towards the top. The snout fits in, the ears fall along the outside.
The opening is narrower than the bowl itself, so the ears have no room to follow the snout inside.
Drinking is where ears get the wettest. No more dripping trail from the bowl to the couch.
Ears that stay clean and dry are less prone to redness, itching and that typical smell.
PINO Sandstone® does not slide or tip, even with an eager eater pushing it around.
Does your dog already have an ear infection? See your vet first. The bowl helps prevent, it does not treat.
Every PINO bowl is made from PINO Sandstone®, our own material based on natural sand. It gives the bowl real weight, a soft stone look and a surface that stays fresh.
Plastic slides and scratches, ceramic chips, metal clatters across the floor. Sand does none of that. Each bowl is finished by hand in a social workplace in Belgium.
Most bowls are made from plastic, ceramic or metal. Each has its weak spot. PINO Sandstone® was developed to avoid them, and the Long Ears shape adds what no standard bowl offers.

Two years to find the right material. The result: PINO Sandstone®. Heavy enough to stay put, strong enough for any eater, and quiet, for a calm mealtime.
Made for every dog whose ears hang past the jaw. Go by the build of your dog and the length of the snout: the rim should be wide enough for the snout, and narrow enough to keep the ears outside.

BIG DOG OR A PUPPY?
Medium is our largest size and holds 1.2 litres, a full meal for most large dogs too. For a puppy, pick the size that fits its adult build. Still in doubt? Send us the breed and we will tell you.

For every dog whose ears hang past the jaw: cocker and springer spaniels, cavaliers, bassets, beagles, dachshunds, setters, poodles and doodles with long ears. If the ears end up in the food or the water, this bowl is for your dog.
The rim curves inward, so the opening is narrower than the body of the bowl. Your dog's snout fits in, while the ears fall along the outside instead of into the food or water.
Small suits a Dachshund, Cavalier King Charles or Miniature Poodle. Medium suits a Cocker or Springer Spaniel, Beagle, Basset Hound, Setter or a doodle. In doubt? Send us your dog's breed and we will help you choose.
Pick the size that fits your dog's adult build. The narrow rim works just as well for a puppy, and you will not need a new bowl once it is fully grown.
Yes. However long the ears are, they fall along the outside of the bowl instead of into it. Very long ears can still touch the floor next to the bowl. Want them to hang freely? Put the Medium bowls on a tray with the Raised Tray Extension.
Not for eating and drinking. Many of our customers stopped using a snood at mealtimes once they switched to the Long Ears Bowl.
Yes, and that is where it helps the most, because ears get wettest while drinking. Many owners take two: one for food and one for water, on a matching tray.
No. PINO Sandstone® is heavy, so the bowl stays in place, even with an eager eater. On the tray it sits in a recess, so it cannot move at all.
Yes, in Medium. Put the Medium bowls on the Medium Tray for Dogs and add the Raised Tray Extension underneath, with four heights to choose from. Small bowls and the Small tray do not work with the extension.
Yes, at 30°C on the top rack. You can also put it in the fridge, handy if you feed raw.

Every PINO is made from the same sand, but not every dog eats the same way.
