How limited is the Black Panther Winter Edition?
We make a limited number of each piece, and every one comes with its own numbered certificate. The last pieces are still being made by hand in the social workplace, so new stock comes in regularly. If your size is not ready yet, your order may ship a day later. If there is a longer delay, we will let you know. Once they are gone, they do not come back.
Which dogs is the Classic for?
For every dog. Small suits toy breeds like a Chihuahua or Maltese, Medium suits dogs like a Border Collie or Cocker Spaniel, and Large suits a Labrador, Golden Retriever or German Shepherd. Use it for food, for water, or take two.
Which size do I need?
As a rule of thumb: Small for dogs up to 10 kg, Medium from 10 to 25 kg, and Large for dogs above 25 kg. In doubt? Send us your dog's breed and we will help you choose.
What is the difference between Solid and Marble?
Only the look. Solid is one calm black, Marble has white veins swirled through it by hand. Same material, same shape, same price.
Is every marble bowl the same?
No. The white veins are swirled through the black by hand, so every marble bowl has its own pattern. The photos show the finish, not your exact bowl.
Does it slide or tip over?
No. PINO Sandstone® is heavy and the bowl has a non-slip base, so it stays in place, even with an eager eater. On the tray it sits snugly in its own recess.
Will the measuring lines wear off?
No. The lines are made in the sandstone while the bowl is shaped by hand, so they are a permanent part of the bowl.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, at 30°C on the top rack. You can also put it in the fridge, handy if you feed raw. Just keep it out of the microwave.
Can I raise the bowls?
Yes, in Medium and Large. Put the bowls on the Black Panther Tray in the same size and add the Raised Tray Extension underneath, with four heights to choose from. The Small tray does not work with the extension.
Why does every bowl look slightly different?
Every bowl is handmade in Belgium, in a social workplace. Small differences in shape or finish, or a tiny air bubble, are part of that handwork and make every bowl unique.
