That’s why we created the PINO Slow Feeder, a bowl designed to encourage slower, healthier eating habits. Its raised inner shapes naturally pace your dog’s intake and offer gentle mental stimulation, without causing frustration.
Our bowls are crafted from PINO Sandstone®, a strong and heavy material that keeps the bowl in place, won't slide around and is resistant against chewing.

WHY A SLOW FEEDER
DINNER IS NOT A RACE
Some dogs treat every meal like a race. The bowl is empty in seconds, and then comes the coughing, the food coming back up, or the begging for more. Gulping is more than messy: it can lead to bloating, weight gain and an upset stomach.
The Slow Feeder has raised shapes on the inside. Your dog has to eat around them, bite by bite, so the meal lasts longer without turning into frustration.

How limited is the Black Panther Winter Edition?
We make a limited number of each piece, and every one comes with its own numbered certificate. The last pieces are still being made by hand in the social workplace, so new stock comes in regularly. If your size is not ready yet, your order may ship a day later. If there is a longer delay, we will let you know. Once they are gone, they do not come back.
Which dogs is the Slow Feeder for?
For dogs that eat too fast: the ones that empty their bowl in seconds, cough or bring food back up after a meal, or beg for more right away. It works for kibble and wet food alike.
How does it slow my dog down?
Raised shapes on the inside divide the bowl. Your dog cannot take one big mouthful, so it eats around the shapes, a few bites at a time. The meal takes longer, and getting the last bits keeps its nose and tongue busy.
Will my dog get frustrated?
The Slow Feeder is designed to slow the pace, not to block it. The food stays within reach, so dinner stays dinner and does not turn into a puzzle.
Which size do I need?
As a rule of thumb: Small for dogs up to 10 kg, Medium from 10 to 25 kg, and Large for dogs above 25 kg. The shapes inside take up some room, so check the volume too: Small holds 0.4 L, Medium 1 L and Large 1.7 L.
Can it help against bloating?
Gulping can lead to bloating, and eating slower helps prevent gulping. That is what the bowl does: it slows the pace. It does not treat anything. Does your dog often vomit, or does its belly look swollen after eating? See your vet.
Is every marble bowl the same?
No. The white veins are swirled through the black by hand, so every marble bowl has its own pattern. The photos show the finish, not your exact bowl.
Is it easy to clean between the shapes?
Yes. It is dishwasher safe at 30°C on the top rack, and easy to clean by hand too. The non-porous surface does not hold smells. Just keep it out of the microwave.
Can I raise the bowls?
Yes, in Medium and Large. Put the bowls on the Black Panther Tray in the same size and add the Raised Tray Extension underneath, with four heights to choose from. The Small tray does not work with the extension.
