About this bowl
Does your dog eat way too fast? Vomit or beg for more right after mealtime? This can lead to bloating, weight gain, or even digestive issues.
That’s why we developed the PINO Flat Slow Feeder Food Bowl, a bowl designed to promote slower, healthier eating habits. The lowered edges for flat-faced breeds ensure slower food intake and mental stimulation, without causing frustration. Ideal for French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boxers, and Boston Terriers. It works just as well for cats with a flat face or sensitive whiskers.
Our bowls are crafted from PINO Sandstone®, a strong and heavy material that keeps the bowl in place, won't slide around and is resistant against chewing.

Dishwasher safe at 30°C on the top rack, and easy to clean by hand too. It also goes in the fridge, handy if you feed raw. Not for the microwave.
Every piece is handmade in Belgium, so small differences in the finish are part of it.

SHORT SNOUT, SLOW MEAL
French bulldogs, pugs, boxers, Persian cats: plenty of appetite, not much snout. Many of them eat far too fast. A slow feeder helps, but a regular one is often too deep for a flat face. The snout cannot reach the food, and dinner turns into a struggle.
The Flat Slow Feeder keeps the obstacles low. A short snout reaches every bite, and your pet still has to slow down, without the frustration.

How limited is the Black Panther Winter Edition?
We make a limited number of each piece, and every one comes with its own numbered certificate. The last pieces are still being made by hand in the social workplace, so new stock comes in regularly. If your size is not ready yet, your order may ship a day later. If there is a longer delay, we will let you know. Once they are gone, they do not come back.
Which pets is this bowl for?
For dogs and cats with a short, flat snout that eat too fast: French bulldogs, pugs, boxers, Boston terriers, Persian and other flat-faced cats. If a regular slow feeder is too deep for your pet, this one is for you.
Will my pet get frustrated?
That is exactly what the low obstacles are for. Your pet has to work a little for every bite, but can reach all of it. Slower, not impossible.
Why does eating too fast matter?
Pets that gulp often vomit or beg for more right after their meal. Eating too fast can also lead to bloating, weight gain or digestive problems. Worried? Ask your vet.
Which bowl should I use for water?
A bowl without obstacles. The Classic Bowl in Medium fits on the same tray. Or take the wide, shallow Whisker Friendly Bowl, made for cats and just as handy for a flat-faced dog.
Is every marble bowl the same?
No. The white veins are swirled through the black by hand, so every marble bowl has its own pattern. The photos show the finish, not your exact bowl.
Can I raise the bowl?
Yes. Put it on the Black Panther Tray in Medium with a second bowl, and add the Raised Tray Extension underneath. You choose from four heights: 11, 19, 23 or 30 cm, set by hand, no tools.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes, at 30°C on the top rack. You can also put it in the fridge, handy if you feed raw.
